The width of gas fireplace hearths can vary but 300mm depth (12 inches) in front of the gas fire should be considered as a minimum to comply with gas fireplace regulations. If you have cut your carpet to accommodate your current gas fireplace then don’t worry as we can supply a bespoke marble hearth direct from our factory to cover your current cut out saving you time and money.
